# Non-custodial

> Your keys, your funds, always.

Offset never holds your money. It reads your public Hyperliquid positions and
surfaces the markets that could move them. You trade on the venue yourself.
Nothing goes through us.

### What that means

* **Your funds stay with you.** Any cover you hold, and any payout, live in your
  own account on the venue.
* **No trades through us.** Offset does not execute, route, or custody any trade.
  You place it yourself, directly on the venue.
* **No email, no KYC.** Connect a wallet or paste an address. We do not collect
  personal information to use the app.

### What we can and cannot do

### Browsing needs no wallet

You can look up any asset and see its hedges without connecting anything. A wallet
is only needed to list your own positions, and even then we only read what is
already public on-chain.
